Just got round to sorting some pics from that weekend.

Interesting mixture as usual at these general 'classic' shows. And interesting to see what some people regard as 'classic' :?

I think it was a replica.
It had a serial plate type thing in the engine bay with a VIN and a space for a build date (date left blank tho). The plate had a company name on it (cant remember what it was but it wasnt Jaguar) so i presume they were the manufacturers of the body.

The tax disc said it was a Jag but I think that just means the donor car was a Jag.

Still, i wouldnt kick it out of the garage 8-)

The bloke with the Peel said there's only 20 of them left now (worldwide), and one recently sold for £50k

Rich...

Right, being a doubting Thomas about the rarity of that Cad, I took another, closer look. Am I right in thinking it is a 59 Eldorado Brougham?

The registration numbers club...for heaven's sake Rob

That very early TR2 is interesting...is it a prototype?

Dunno Ivor, all I know is what's written on the info sheet on its windscreen. I'll re-read it when i get a mo ;)

I was flicking thru one of the classic mags at the weekend and there's a article about it in next months issue.... poss Classic & Sportscar :-k

I also saw summat about that Tatra, either in the current or next issue...

Clivey - I've another pic or 2 of that caddy - I'll look later & see if they give any more clues as to what model it is.
