Great photos, we used to go to that show too. Wasnt it a motorcycle museum?
I owned the pink metallic 59 Oldsmobile convertible from 2003 to 2006, it was at the NEC in 04 on the Classic American stand with your car!
Is that the Garrow bro's standing next to the gold 57 Oldsmobile?

Nice pics Rob. I wonder how many of those cars are still around (apart from yours obviously). I think the Homans have still got that 53 Eldo haven't they?
I remember the 54 Ford in the background of the 59 Dodge pic terrorising Wandsworth on Chelsea Cruise night. I believe it had a hot 427 (Ford).
Thanks for sharing

Thanks Andy, I wasnt sure if that show was a one-off, I think we only went there that one time.
Not familiar with the name Garrow, but there's a few faces there I still see around these days.
Also remember drooling over your Olds at Billing in Aug 04
Some pics from there & the NEC later that year, in case you need reminding

Mate of mine owned that '54 Ford in the '80's, I was considering buying it, ex John Bonham car, 427 side oiler, 4 speed, 4.10's. A genuine late '60's street racer, it had all the correct period parts but was really tired after years of abuse. Often wondered what happened to it, I haven't seen it since the last time I drove it....
