Hi All.
I know this may be better placed in the members car show especially if I do put much detail about my particular car.
But I thought it would just get lost among the US stuff if I put it in the "Member's Car Show" section.
After seeing a few ebay sales of the 1970 VIP Prospectus I thought I could start to post some of the original documentation that I received with my VIP including some pages from the Prospectus.
If this is boring to you feel free to say so.....
I am the 4th owner.
The chap who I got the car from (3rd owner) only had it a few weeks, guess he thought some of the mechanical problems it had were too major for him to tackle as he was retired.
I owe many thanks to the (2nd owner) who I believe had passed away early this year.
For about 35 years he had kept it dry and as a result it has surprisingly very little rust.
It has been resprayed a lighter green than original in about July 1994.
There is a picture copied from another thread below.
So here are a few images of some of the documentation.

I love looking at the old Aussie cars..... You can see so many influences from the USA and the UK....
Did you know that there is a Canadian car manufacturer now? Starnge thing is, they only sell there cars in the US, due to type regulations!

They were the Board of Directors of Chrysler Australia.
Thats their shiny board in front of them
Looks like they were prepared to puff cigar smoke over you until you gave in and bought a VIP!
Seriously though, I can not seem to find any info as to who they were.
But I love the photo, they look like real characters.

How did you know that Terry?
I can hardly remember my own name at times.
No one said stop so here are today's additions.
The first one has a business card then two unused stickers, I reckon the 'Chrysler Australia' window sticker must have come from the club with the club sticker because they have the same 'Swiss Made' marking on the backing paper.
There are still a couple of club stickers on my car, the ones with I think a VF in the pic. I'll take a photo of it later.
Also the Cub spars list from '93.
Incidentally if anyone knows of a rear bumper for a VF/VG sedan please let me know, mine has been bent and hammered at some stage.
Gets uglier every time I look at it.
Guess this old club stuff will evoke some memories for some of you who were members.
Then there is the first few pages of the service booklet for my VG including the first owners name.
Can someone please tell me exactly where the engine number is stamped on the 318 block?
Cheers
Steve

It sure is! Luckily I get all the free wood I need from the Packing Crates our tools come in when they are shipped in from the States. The Crates are built outta dressed Pine or something. It saddens me to see 4-8 meter long spars of wood of such quality go in the Skip. I feel bad enough burning it, but what a heat it gives off!

About at the end of the interesting stuff now.
Doubt there is any danger in posting the old test certificates and V5 so here goes...
