Fantastic sunshine, despite the prediction of gloomy weather, but a brisk headwind was knocking everyone's times back, despite Kev going for a single plane manifold on the Taxi, which is now sporting an illuminated TAXI lamp on the roof...don't ever let home grow up!

Blue was on hand with the spanners and timing lights as usual, but don't bet on him sorting your car out at the Nats...he's bringing the Dart...

While me, Paul Chris, Philth, Kev and the boys were sitting in the well ordered row of chairs around the barbecue, we waited for the big film, but it never materialised...didn't even get any popcorn.

Guy was at the bridge of the Star Ship Enterprise (have you seen the electronics inside his 'Cuda?) trying to hone those tenths off with some whacky timing...like 29 degrees advance at idle...went out with him and it certainly felt pretty fast...and on Saturday he was steadily getting quicker.

Mister Napier was going like a train, as usual and Nick Wood's 70 Road Runner was flying despite only having half throttle and no gas at the time...heaven knows what times he will be making today (Sunday)...but he'll be right up there with the Surrey Muscle boys, that's for sure.

There were also some interesting Mopars that I haven't clapped eyes on before, including a white GTX with a six pack hood, a beautiful white Cornonet 440, a very tidy triple green Charger, a Satellite A12 clone, a very original looking Coronet...it was badged up as a Super Bee, but I can't quite remember the VIN number, but I'm pretty sure it was a WS29, which actually makes it an R/T, nevertheless, it was great to see it, just being driven as it was and finally, the rarest of the rare...a Dart Custom, which I believe is the only one in the country.

The MMA boys and girls were certainly enjoying themselves...well, those that hadn't tried the Skittles Vodka on Friday night...

white '67 Coronet next to it was an absolute peach. Some reason I've not got any pics of that. Was a real nice looking car though. I think its TrevD's ???

The 67 Coronet belongs to none other than Terry Redburn, and it is a nice car.

Here you go Al, a shot of that lovely Coronet.

And James, you can use any of these shots, I've got hi res if you need 'em...though why you would want them with all these pros about, I'm not sure!
