Heard that Paul Mander's Christmas pressie had arrived in Ron Fenton's last container, so we popped round to see it Sunday afternoon while I was up at Stu's.
Not matching numbers but a tidy resto, with a nice paint job and a fairly mild 400 / TH400 (i think) / 12 bolt.
He had the steering & brakes done by Ron's 'man' out in Florida as it was a bit of a death trap (esp the steering); Hotchkis steering & suspension & a front disc w/servo conversion. He could have had the original Rally wheels but decided to keep these Weld wheels which also came with the car, as the Rallys wouldnt fit with the new calipers (usual story
)
Despite having & being involved in Mopars in some shape or form, all his adult life, this is the car he's always wanted since being a nipper
Dunno how long he'll put up with the mild 400 tho.....
