Hello all,
Please be gentle (to start with
)
I'm new here having just delved into the world of classic Mopar. I've had a Dodge Dakota in the past (until someone wrote it off), but this is my first "historic" yank.
It actually belonged to a previous member of the club, I think his name was Paul or Pete, before it went to a guy in Scotland called Steve who spent a fair whack on it, but inevitably couldn't manage it as he was disabled.
I just picked it up a couple of weeks ago with a view of turning it into a decent street car rather than an original restoration, which I'm aware generally cost more to do than puts value into the vehicle.
Its a Red 1971 Dodge Charger thats been fitted with a 440cu/727 trans set up along with a few modifications along the way to beef up the top end/fuelling/ignition. Reg no is GPF 931J if anyone recognises it...
regards, Rich
