exhaust cut outs

Here's a question guys, where is the best place to put exhaust cut outs
a) just after the header flange
b) after the H pipe
c) just before the silencer
d) in the bin and just drop the exhausts at the track

D) until the Pikeys nick them out of the pits and you have a noisy drive home.....

I Knew that D) was going to be the correct answer, but too much like hard work, so that leaves A) ,B) or C)

I fitted mine just after the x pipe crossover such that they exited to the rear of the doors, worked fine but modified the edges on as few speed bumps

reckon close to the flange as poss, but point away from fuel lines...

I put mine more or less the same place as Bob. After the H-pipe.

A more relevant post would be,:D when would you open your headers.
A When you go into a tunnel.
B When there is a young girl waking her dog in your direction
C When there is a young child nearby.
D When you want to impress the local constabulary

yeah thats true , could leave all sorts of stuff up against the wire fence tools spare etc etc while making a run , not any more

So a 50/50 split between front and rear,maybe not that critical then ?

Do what's easiest and most practical.
