Had a bit a disaster last weekend @ Donington, drive shaft nut came loose, bust oil seal & threw oil over red hot brake disc, instant fire, burnt rear 1/4, bumper,light etc

not @ all, but had to open the door & let the smoke out so I could see where I was going.............only a few more seconds to the pit lane & the fire truck.
There was no way I was going to stop car on the track & let it burn while the marshalls lugged the extingushers to me.
This was real close to the petrol tank & filler
