'72 Challenger Restoration What a find !!

Two years ago lying in a field, I found this 72 Challenger, Really it had been stood up there for about 10 years not moving just disappearing into the ground,
And get this a 440 - 6 pak motor complete but in bits 727 auto and 4.10s in the rear,
I could not believe it and only about 2 miles from where i live, My friend was looking for just such a car so,
After much negotiating we purchased the car, my mate John Challis, ( member) buying it and took on the momnumental task of repairing her, the owner Andy used to race her and was going to restore her, YEAH RIGHT !
The car had tickets for 11.8s in the centre console so we were quite happy with that, and it was just as the car was left outside to die.
NO CHANCE.
CHECK OUT the pics and see for yourself
We fitted the engine and box this afternoon, built by Dave Billadeux at Brighouse Speed, He said it fired up and ran like a dream on the Standing for 10 year six pak that we gave new Vacuum actuators and pipe work and a good clean. Trying to finish her of for the Nats all being well
Enjoy
