Hi to everyone, here's some info / pics of my charger since i got it in Oct 2010. My wife brought it as a 40th birthday present for me. 440 4 speed manual with a few chips / knocks on the body but good solid car thou was a 383 4bbl 4spd car in fairly usual colour for charger b7.

First thing was to fit 7x15 and 10x15 torq thrusts with 215/65 and 295/50 tyres but rears catch inner arches with kids in, so new rear 8.5x15 with 275 and new front 245 tyres.

Then next was headman headers and new exhausts with x pipe, then drove it every day untill it snowed, but once gone daily driver again untill santa pod rwyb 16th may 2011 which on bfg tyres with full exhausts i drove down to the pod from stoke kicked the wife and kids out, signed on and gave it ago best was 15.03 @ 94mph with wheel spin off the line but good base line to start from....

Next was new plugs, ht leads, wrap the headers , mopar perf. valve covers and a pair of hooiser quick times 295/50x15 treads on my spare 10x15 torq thrust as dont wanna run slicks keeping it a street car at the mo. Made a towbar to tow caravan to meets. Garys picnic towed caravan there, swapped wheels, removed air filter, tow bar and exhausts ran a best 14.02 @ 99.38mph but could get any more due to clutch release bearing rattling bad and clutch slipping, oh yeah and starter packed up had to be bump started in pair up lane lol. still managed to tow caravan back to stoke thou.

So set about renewing clutch, starter and need flywheel skim but as i was pricing it up had a change of plan and converted it to auto. So found a good tci full competition gearbox not street fighter, full manual rev. pattern with 3500 stall tci converter, trans cooler and b&m shifter for £800 ordered new msd mini starter, braided cooler lines and made a shifter mount to bolt to trans tunnel where the 4spd shifter boot / chrome ring bolted, auto meter tacho and oil catch tank, coolant overflow tank ready for nost. nationals where it ran a best 13.50 @ 101mph but was having running problems @5000rpm in second and thrid, misfire?? vapour lock on fuel?? was very hot on the sunday.

Getting ready now for santa pod dragstalgia 16th of this month busy fitting msd ignition, holley fuel pump and spacer on carb to see if improves running??? hope so and hope to run a bit quick fingers crossed.

cheers everyone for help and advise

I wondered whose car this was at Gary's picnic. Best of luck with chasing the ET's, I hope your wife is sympathetic because it's all you'll think about for the next few years, and it'll cost you plenty. :D
