prop shaft UJ's

I took the Barracuda for its MOT yesterday (it passed) and the tester observed (advisory item) that there was slight wear in the front prop shaft UJ. His attention was drawn by the rustiness around it, he said.
There's no noise or anything so I expect it'll carry on OK for a few months more. But is this replacement a specialised garage project or a DIY one? The Plymouth manual implies that it IS specialised but maybe I'm reading it wrongly.
The tester wasn't touting for business or anything like that but he suggested that if I'm replacing the front UJ, I may as well do the rear one as well. He said that BMG in Leatherhead could send it away to somebody in Essex to get it done, if they have the parts.
Are "our" UJ's likely to be stocked by firms in this country?
