My fav circuit but not the best for big heavy car
from my pal's lotus sunbeam, my videos a bit boring as the action is all behind me
Qualled 2'nd with 1.34 which im happy with
Lead race until I started to overheat my rear tires as usual & then helled them up being a mobile chicane for as long as I could, finished 3rd

It looked very impressive in the video Andy. How on earth do you overtake in a car at Cadwell!

Fantastic Andy, That brought back some memories, that feeling of getting airborne at the top of the mountain.

Looked like you were knocking on his door at the end there Andy.
Bloody fast stuff. I would be exhausted having to concentrate that hard for that length of time.

yes Dave & Mal had a wee touch going into the gooseneck, I had to do a bit of grass cutting
Dave straight after this did a 40 minute pit stop race in my fiesta.
In total 15 min qually + 20 min race in the falcon
15 min qually & 40 min race in the fiesta
so a fair bit of in the seat time
entry fee cost £309 in total which is a fair bit of money for a days racing but for 90 min in the seat time that is as cheap as you get.
along the pit straight doing 145 (135 for the sunbeam) & after 1 st corner still doing 125

I would have to have a day in bed after 90mins of racing like that.
Still got that footage from Rockingham for you mate. Not as exciting as this footage was though.

& thats only 1/2 of it, the sunbeam terrorised me for 16 minutes out of the 20 before I bollocked up just before the goosneck & if you look carfully somewhere on the 1st lap id hit a marker board with my pass mirror folding it in & the 'in car' mirror basically just give you a nice view of the spoiler leaving just the drivers door mirror

Great video, track is still as narrow as I remember from 1989 when I raced the Triumph Herald there, only on the short circuit though.
Full circuit looks very demanding.
That Falcon really does the business Andy, keep it up!!
