Sadly, this is the car that Gerry Marshall had his last ever drive in .......
" Much has been said and written about Gerry Marshall over the years and especially in the year since his sad passing. Despite numerous reports, Gerry died from a heart related illness whilst testing the ex-Richard Petty Penske built IROC Camaro at Silverstone on the 21st April 2005. He remained in full control of the car and was on a hot lap when it happened and gracefully pulled to the outside of Luffield. A true professional to the end, he thought of the car and the safety of those around him and had flicked off the fuel pumps and cut off switches"

One of 16 cars built by Penske Racing, this one was Pettys car and one of the last. Very few now survive.
Short strke screamer, revs to 9,000 rpm. Yes = dry sump system.
Yes she's showing her age but she's all genuine and correct
