I am in the process of building a Darrell Alderman Pro Stocker replica that will look like this ( mine is a 91 his was a 92 but keep it to yourselves ;) )

A couple of things I need to verify before I start setting out the chassis.

1 - Under the old pro stocker 10 % set back rule am I correct in thinking I can set centreline of piston no1 10% of my wheelbase behind front axle centreline ?

for example : wheelbase is 97.2" which would allow me max centreline of front axle to centreline of bore no1 of 9 1/2 " ?

2 - What is the minimum height of front overhang of bodywork in front of and behind front axle centreline ( this is in relation to breaking timing beams with body vs wheels ) ???

I need the car to be compliant with pro-et rules in this country

Chassis tagging and safety stuff I am not worried about as I plan to comply with latest regs anyway

I am not sure of the above can anyone confirm 1 way or the other

Thanks

Jon

P.S. ... Just a personal thing but the car will not be going anywhere near any of our pro car builders ( hauser / robinson / webster etc ) as I want it to be a 100% home built job

All you need for Pro Et is to have a chassis tag to cover the times you run, anywhere betwwen 9 and 11.99 sec. And from the beginning of next year you can not exceed 120 db.
