Pitman arm 68 Charger

Anybody got any bright ideas for getting a pitman arm off a 68 Charger. I'm just tidying the steering up, could do with this off and change the seals above in the steering box.

You'll need a pitman arm puller, frost restoration do them. failing that some heat and brute force, careful not to cause any damage though

I take it a pit man arm is the arm from steering box down that turns left and right that turns the track rods arms

yes
be careful with heat
i belive the pitman arm balljoint
is a T shaped pin in a hard rubber bush
the back cap on the balljoint is pressed on and spot welded
i guess they did this damn quick
i used a crank timing cog puller to get mine off

Had a little tickle at it, but as you say I'm not going banging and a burning.
I can imagine it will bang, had a bearing pulled off a Scimitar rear axle some years back. It went at 13 ton, fair bang that was. Shook the machine.
