i'm getting some sleeve type lug nuts tapped 1/2" unf left hand thread for the driver side of my 66 fury so i can fit the slotmags i have. seems easier than finding out which of three different sizes of stud i have to order right hand thread for that side. i've had to change studs on a coronet and a d100 before so i thought i'd try a different approach. i'll let you know if it works out.

No problem with left hand thread,got my nuts (for Cragars) from North Hants Tyres.

cheers for the info. all done now. started with 7/16" unf nuts, drilled out to 7/16" then tapped l/h 1/2" unf. i get lug nuts locally for about £1.30 each so now i have the taps it works out cheaper this way.
