Sacrilege, or cunning plan?

Looks like it's gonna be pants.
More talk about economy and aerodynamics than about power or performance.
Choice of three puny 4-pots.
Revamped Chrysler Neon?

Looks like it could be quite a nice looking run around that. :thumbright:

Oh I see. It is a longer and wider Alfa Romeo Giulietta and comes with more powerful engines.

My mates wife has a Giulietta with a 1.4 and it seems a well handling sporty car. I have only had a lift in it though. Not driven one.

Well because of this thread I decided to look at the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.

After a test drive I bought a basic one year old Turismo version with the little 1.6 turbo diesel. £30 a year for tax. 50mpg around town. 70mpg highway.
6-speed box and 6 air bags. Should be a canny little car for wor lass.

For such a low powered engine it drives nice in "sport mode". Makes a decent amount of torque for its size.

I hardly drive these days so a "sensible" car is probably the best thing. Still got the Corvette for most driving during British Summer Time though. :thumbright:

I am trading in the Jeep. I can't sell it because the rear ring and pinion are buggered and it is also driving like crap due to sensor faults or something.
