This was at 10.30 hrs and by 12.00 hrs there was 500+cars there, I`ve never seen Brooklands so full, they were even double parking cars along the entire banking.

Busy is an understatement! I got there about 12. Last-ish car to park in American section and only just got round all the cars on show before the rain started at 2-ish. All done at a fast walk.

Clearly, numbers were higher than anyone anticipated, otherwise there would have been shorter queues to get in, more loos and more food!

Also, the organisers might have thought that charging 'exhibiting' cars full-whack to get in just a bit of a Mickey-take. Still, revenue will help keep a great place going a little longer...

Nice to see so many folk still interested in so many different species of old cars too - a good family day-out cut (a little) short by the rain.

Unless that P6 is the factory prototype,it's another of quite a few home-grown jobs.

The car was converted for the Rover company by ???????????? (can`t remember the name of the firm)

Quite a rare bit of kit, the only factory Rover 2000 convertable, by all accounts :thumbright:

By the way........did Rover make any 2 door TC/SC 2000 units :? :? :?
