Hi I thought as its the New Year, i would post up what i'll be working on over the course of this year,
I've had this truck for four months, its a black plate truck, all standard but in need of going right through it, the engine's long gone the trans is there but it won't be getting used.
I'll be fitting a 2.5 straight six turbo diesel, along with its gearbox and wiring loom, i do like always have more plans for this truck if i had more money for the project, however it'll be my daily driver and tow truck for the Coupe when i go racing.
So the plan at the moment is to get the truck ready for the engine swap, and go through the brake system and get it through an MOT, then do the rest as its needed

I'll be watching this one cos me and me bro have been wanting to do this for sometime now but with a delivery van, same stuff should apply tho', we may break our Sprinter up to provide all the running gear, loom etc

Love the look of these trucks. Wouldn't mind one myself

Would have to be a V8 though

This will be an interesting build.
Will you make it an auto or is it likely that the oil-burner will necessitate a stick?

but funds won't stretch to that i'm afraid, hopefully at a later date i might drop in what the truck should have had from the start,
the box is a manual, so other than the engine mounts and one trans mount it shouldn't be to bad to get it in, the engine bay is capable of taking a V8 and a six so no major chopping of the bay should be required

Hi
Just a small update, i can't believe i've had this 8 month already and not touched it,
Having sold the Norton Fastback i had, its now time to push on with the truck.
So just to get my arse into gear i've just put in an order for a few bits and bobs, i'm still working in Holland so i'll be getting everything together so when i return the truck should hopefully be a runner

Hi
Well after spending hours going through the parts catalog and waiting for the company to confirm back the had it all in stock, which they did, and then waiting another couple of days for a shipping quote, and then waiting for my card to be processed they email me saying they can't put it through because i need to be verified
They then went on to say they want copies of my credit card statements and a copy of my driver's licence

WTF
So i told them thats not going to happen and i cancelled the order

I know, God know where the info would end up,
So I've order the same parts list through Jimmy at Valley Gas that build my 34 Coupe,
Oh and a new 9 inch back axle from Currie's is on its way

Hi Latil
No LMC truck, i see that Summit is now doing PayPal, i had a problem with them a couple of years ago, PayPal i would of thought would be a better way to go,
How's your truck going?
