Hi Andy.
Good to see you on the board.
Jensen Interceptor most likely!
First generation smogaroo after the 906's
No good to man or beast methinks?
452's are the best, followed by 906's and the 915's.
Or maybe the 915's are the best iron head?
See what you've started LoL!
Best wishes Hemi-Hatchrad.

I thought 346 and 452's are pretty well the same head.
I had 346's on my Dart, with 2.14, 1.81 valves, best time was 11.70 or so.

Hi Folks,
There isn't alot of difference in any Mopar head!
452's are truly unleaded friendly, all the others are not.
452's fully ported will outflow 906's, but have a peakier flow curve.
For street cars the 906 is still the best, but needs hardened seats and Stainless valves methinks.
Push the boat out and get a pair of Stealth's!
Pay once and keep 'em for ever LoL.

I wouldn't spend a lot of money porting 906's. 346's are much the same head, - as is the 452 except it has hardened seats.
So for a stock or nearly stock street motor 452's would be my choice.
Spending money on over 40 years old 906's seems bonkers to me. They're not that good anyway, that's a myth.
Some years ago we didn't have much choice, but there's a world full of new heads to choose from now.

And there is a good chance those old iron heads will crack. Both of my ported 906's did eventually.

Hi Andy,
If you are still having detonation probs, the 452's have a slightly larger combustion chamber, will help bring the compression down.
Still have the 742 locker diff here with the 3.23's.
If you are happy with the 489 and 3.55's I will sell this one.
Thanx bacca.

Hi Andy and Derek,
I would like £550 for the locker diff.
Very rare as you know and correct for all pre 69 R/T's.
Much stronger than the woosy 489's L0L.
