Been looking with interest for probably ten years but something else has always diverted my wallet.

Well not great timing but this was offered to me yesterday from my contact in CA and I had to be quick.

So I now own a 67 390GT Fastback high option car. A very solid car but need lots of work

Oh well

Cheers Guys

Yes manual which was the icing on the cake for me.

Though I like a clean car I'm feeling a doggy looking but stonkingly awesome under the skin car dropped and wheeled (period wheels)

Very nice! Love Mustangs. Going to have a '69 Fastback one day.

'67 & '68's have the best rear of any muscle car! :thumbright:

Me porky lil bro wanted to put all modern running gear into a 67-68 Stang but couldn't find a decent rolling shell to Bananarama!, so he gonna do it to a Cougar instead.
That Muzzy looks really cool, nice one :thumbright:

Obviously for originality/top money, you need the 390 fitted, but I found them to be a boat anchor and spoilt the handling, always found them nose heavy. Anyway like you said your gonna fit summat tasty, I'd make it a small block stroker motor, mind you that ally motor would be summat else 8-)

It's Miles old 69 Rich, an earlier car would bend under the fatboys weight, we dropped a '90 5 litre HO Efi and a matching T5 in a couple of weeks back, may even be running for the Nats :)

Hi Mate

Good luck with her restoration, had a 68, 302 for a while there, part exchanged for a 68 charger. Pony cars always turn heads, looking forward to c how your resto goes.

all the best

Rene :)

Yep, I agree, I love my Mopars, but I'd have that at the drop of a hat.

I'd be tempted to leave the patina too! ;)
