Hi,

Following a conversation earlier over a pint, anyone know what the correct original backspace depth is on standard original 70 D100 steel wheels? My mate is restoring his truck and would like to get it looking original. Anyone able to post a picture of what they should look like? His hubs are 5 stud. What size should the wheels be and anyone got a suitable set of four they are looking to sell? All help greatly appreciated,

Many thanks..... Steve

Mine's a '72 but probably mostly the same.

Except mine has had some, err, imaginative repairs done over the years mainly to keep it on the road with the minimum possibly money and effort :thumbright:

It's a great way to learn- it cost me very little and i've no interest in retaining originality!
The way i see it, every mod, repair or scar should be seen as it's part of the Truk's story.
Bit of a contrast to my car ;)
