Please be advised that the Spitfires, Merlins and Motors Day at IWM Duxford on the 5th August 2012 is now open to all applications regardless of car age or period.

This event needs to be pre-booked if we as a club would like to attend.
By prebooking we get the discounted rate of £9.50 instead of £17.00.

 Payment: Admission will be collected by a member of IWM staff at the entrance gate. The admission rate is £9.50 per person. Children under 16 can go in for free. NO further reductions are available as this is already a discounted rate compared to our standard admission of £16.50.

Event details here;-
For this new event, we partner the iconic Spitfire with stunning classic cars, represented by car clubs such as the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club. Hear the unmistakable roar of the exhilarating engines that power these thrilling modes of transport.

Spitfire V, Historic Aircraft Collection (flying and static display)
Spitfire IX, Old Flying Machine Company (flying and static display)
Spitfire IXT, Air Leasing (static display)

Its not the American day this time, but anything flying is good to see, and a good excuse to get out in the car.
