Hi - need some Ch*vy bits for the slingshot and it's becoming clear that I'm going to have to take the oil pan in somewhere to match u the right pickup (long story, I thought it was a stock pan but RS say not, can't work out what else it is and have wasted enough time travelling back and forth measuring things...)

Is there anywhere in the South East that's open on a Saturday that might be good for parts please?

Cheers

Paul

Cheers chaps, looks like I'll be hitting Romford on Saturday then Blue

(sorry for Ch*vy content, just wanted a lead on a shop that avoided a day off work. there was no pick up pipe when I bought the half-built engine, hence needing another...)

I just seen my mates and they have a pickup which is listed as for use with race pan, gotta go back there later today if you want me to grab it :thumbright:

Gah, sorry didn't see this Ade. This weekend has thrown up a few more things I'm going to need and I'll have to take the heads somewhere for more machining, so it's starting to make a day off more worthwhile, if more expensive :D

The conclusion I've come to is that it's a standard oil pan, but a hipo pump as it has a 3/4 inch pickup and I think most standard have 5/8 :?

really appreciate the offer, I'll let you know what I work out this week :thumbright:

Cheers

Paul
