Nice looking truck Jon
Just curious but why are the rear shocks on upside down, I thought all the valving for the shock was in the fat end and if you ran them upside down you may get an air pocket around the valve which could effect the way they react, but then again and most likely I am wrong.

Thanks George ... Yank engineers seem to be " craftsmen " or " total bodgers " and not much between
Guy ... well spotted, these are AFCO and can be installed either way up ( as most single ram shocks can ) it changes the characteristics of the shock plus it`s easier to adjust

. The theory is it reduces unsprung weight ??

Carb now sits at 2 degrees leaning forward with truck on level ground.
Am running an ARCA K + N 3.5" filter with a filter top which will all sit under a scoop to provide ram air effect.
Mixture is a bit rich at moment as should lean out towards top end of track

New hood from Dale with bonded Harwood 316417 scoop.
Made a sheet alli pan glued to the underside of the hood to create ram air effect.
Will have to get hood painted next week sometime as haven`t got time now
Hope to run a 14 sec in this
