Nice to see he used a 68 barracuda ,wonder if mine would do that ?? probably not with a 318 !!!!!!!

Ray Barton's son ran 8.55 in the final at the Moparty in Vegas last month to win in a cuda similar.

Yes, and the record is 8.22 - incredible within the class rules! But very costly too and there is a LOT of development and tech in these cars. So to run even in the eights this side of the pond is a pretty decent achievement.

This takes some doing,they are restricted to 435 cubic inch moters...Charlie Wescott Jnr is the man,he builds all his own kit ,,8.22sec i think he ran ,,,the moters are about as trick as you can get.....CWJ moter on the dyno,, 8-)
