Look forward to it mate.... I imagine it was a better day for racing today, been lovely here in Solihull! Got a great piece of video from the last top fuel race on saturday, will try to stick it on Youtube later!

Is that what happened! We went onto the grandstand just to watch them close up. Unless the blow up or completely shut off, it all looks the same to me with those beasts! I can tell more whats going on with the smaller cars as you can hear them changing gear etc.... Its all over in a flash with the top fuelers and I bow down to anyone who knows what the hell is going on beyond the start!

We were at the 1000ft line, seemed his clutch went as sparks all over and a very big whining clattering noise.

I just love the whole thing... The atmosphere etc and it always amazes me how they strip those engines down in no time at all then next thing you know they are doing it all again!!
I love the sportsmans classes aswell, great seeing racers in cars they have built themselves trying to beat their PBs etc..... And you dont see F1 teams helping each other out with parts if they have them...
Great family day out if you ask me
