Congrats to Dave for winning today at the Main event . . .

Been a long time coming, 1st win in 5 years ? :thumbright:

Was a bye run in the final , as no show by Mr Whippy, stout time though 5.33 @262mph

No win for Frosty, but he did run a 6.59 to reset the Worlds quickest street car record, so now he has ET & MPH :thumbright:
Still only a 2nd gear launch

The first Main Event i have missed with Dave in 4 years and he win,s,,,,,someone trying to tell me something???? But fair play to the Maltese crew with Mr Whippy 5.29 for a blown car at the Pod.
Lots of grumbling going on about the track behind the scenes....big things happening

And well done Andy Wright finally getting the Hot Rod Ford down the track in a straight line 6.60

I will let you know now the track is deteriorating, so before all you big boys go rushing down the track, have a couple of shake down runs, there is a dip so big some cars are almost air born, some bikes were air born, rail cars seem to be ok, other than the 2 seater which has fallen over twice!!!!. You have been warned.

The rails have got massive downforce . Alund wrecked two new engines because of the engines overrevving when they loose traction over the bumps ,,he said he won,t be back with his brand new Hass built pro stock ?????he is not the first to say that in the last few weeks

Yes credit to his on track performances....as I have said a 5.99 is on the cards, that I respect, however I think it best for me to refrain on commenting on the latter part of that quote about the worlds quickest street car record.
