Just had this message from Rods and Sods, other will probably have received it too but just in case:

A heads up for anyone planning on going to the Southcoast Internationals this weekend.

The event has been cancelled due to the weather and we have the following announcement from the Victory Wheelers Committee.

"Victory Wheelers Southcoast Internationals, Pylewell Park, Weekend Is Cancelled

After much discussion at Pylewell Park this morning the decision was made to postpone the event.
The decision was not taken lightly, but we had to received strong advice from the Health & Safety consultant.
The weather was of course the reason for these actions, quite frankly it would have been dangerous to proceed with the forecasted high winds this weekend.

I trust you can imagine the enormous disappointment of the committee who have put so much effort into this event.

However, we will reschedule this show for later in the year, this date is yet to be decided, and we hope you all join us for a fantastic show."

If you know anyone who was planning on going but may not receive this email then please spread the word and let them know.

Thanks,

The Rods 'n' Sods Crew.

If they are not sure of the weather the next day? then it is impossible to know what it will be over weekend?

Apart from the obvious Winter Summer etc, they have know idea about the weather,it just seems job creation to me all these weather Jobs.

Its all a best guess they have no clue our weathermen and women.

I never pay attention to week long forecasts.

To be fair though will it not be a Mud bath? it has been raining hard here for a few days so the ground is muddy.

They canceled the Cambridgeshire County show (just down the road from me at Wimpole) 10 days before the event was scheduled to take place due to the weather situation. Many sites have standing water already....hosepipe ban, anyone????
