Less hold ups & side show events for us RWYB chaps would be nice, don't get to run on strips very often, so when you travel for 5 & a bit hours, pay out massive amounts in fuel to get to the venue, pay to get into the venue, pay to run on the track then are held up for ages in a queue while some sort of knockout 'challenge' is held, then motorcycles push in, it is a proper pain in the derriere. Plus of course to add insult to injury you can't even watch said side show events from the fire up lane (or M25 Style hold up if you prefer ).
Maybe do that sort of stuff right at the start of each session & get it out of the way, top fueller & funnies are OK as they're fully awesome & only run a couple of times.
But I feel that the Nats should be more in touch with it's roots are far as trackside goes, RWYB Yanks.
Other than that, really enjoyed the event (as usual) & big thanks are due to all those who make it all possible

I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or instruct my solicitor...

Dont really think you can moan about 'same ol' cars'
Really isn't that many in the country.
The only thing that a annoyed NE was hoping to be woken up by v8s, instead being woken by the bloody bag pipes!!

It's a shame there aren't more trade stalls or even a bit of a swapmeet.
What's a real shame is subarus and a new mini running the track, why or how does this junk get in to a muscle car event.

Healthy discussion, lets not start moaning.....been there done that
IMHO Toilets were spot on, dare I say, recently "refurbed" in some cases. No horrid Turdis types around the site so fair play to Pod
Food - well, Gordon Ramsay wont be hanging up his chef whites anytime soon in fear of Santa Pods food, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT AND IT WONT BE CHANGING ANYTIME SOON - DONT LIKE IT DONT BUY IT
If you want brioche and eggs benedict - bring your Bananarama! own
I think its a weekend where delays on the track were an issue, so fair point - Why pay a track fee for two runs? Why not PER RUN??
Be a good idea to make a swap meet area - with all due respect to those traders that pay per pitch, not trying to rain on a parade.
All in all, I like the familiar faces, familiar cars (at whatever build stage)
There are new people every year, new members, overseas visitors, spoke to a Dutch couple right behind our tent area, it was their first time.
I like the fact its not rammed with cars or people, you have space to move and it feels more like a community than a small town.
I think the Nats is what you make it, if its not doing it for you anymore, dont come and go to another event in the year.
I think we dont realise how much work goes on behind the scenes to make that show a success and my last word on the matter will be......
WE WOULD MISS IT MORE IF IT DIDNT HAPPEN AT ALL !!

Yeah more trade stands plus a few more like Duncs would be good as Steve said. Guess those kind of people/ enthusiasts are few and far between though which is a shame.
It's the bikes pushing in as said before really Bananarama! me off. They should be made to queue just the sane as we do in cars in my opinion and the steward/ officials should do something about it. I guess there were not many there this weekend but if there were there would of been even less time for us.

Actually I think the choice and quality of the food on offer is pretty good, so much so we stopped bringing our own grub last year. No moans from me at all, it is what you make it.

What Blue said on the food: curry stall and pizza people both doing decent scram for fair prices.
As for Mr RR, clearly a life ban and all threads deleted would be reasonable in the circumstances- a total blitzkrieg!

yeah at least there is a choice
anyone eaten at shakey recently....
eggs beans burger sausage chips for 6 meals across a weekend has an adverse effect on the constitution, you need a lukewarm pork n salmonella sandwich just to get some kind of motion back in yer life
PS the pizza is good i agree
i turn up every year and say "The Usual" the fella laughs and sticks on loads of jalapenos
thats service...... he only sees me once every 365 days
