Half the time at the Nats I spent ages introducing people I know from the message board explaining who was who, due to the pseudonyms used on the message board.

It was driving me bonkers saying "Hi, this is Steve Pearson"
"oh I don't know him"
"yes you do,he's been an MMA member for years..he calls himself Latil on the forum"
"so who are you then?"
"I'm Jon Turner"
"Nope, doesn't ring a bell"
"Turnip on the forum"
"Oh yes, of course!"

This is just a hypothetical example, but after about the 30th member had come to the MMA marquee at the Nats, the novelty was wearing off!

Can I make a suggestion that those using pseudonyms can put their real names in their signatures and their locations in their profiles, so we know who you are and have a rough idea where you are?

I remember having this convo with Steve.. (Mr polara i had to say as i forgot his name too ) about my old boards, and being called 'roger red hat'

To this day people I know off there still call me roger lol.
