At the Nats Pete suggested that I fit some limiters to my front suspension, I have an idea what to do but would like to see and hear of other peoples designs on a stock type front end.
As you can see with the picture below the Dart front suspension apears to be at almost full travel still at the 330' mark, and if I can do anything to help it settle down would help at the big end .

What front shocks and torsion bars are on it ?
Generally, you would only put limiters on a car that wheelstands too much, the car needs to pitch rotate, so you need at least 4.5 to 5" of travel and the front end needs to be as loose as possible, Have you still got the upper bump stops ? i cut mine right down. Also, you need to set the alignment with the front jacked up at least 2".

Guy i am in the process of dealing with this on my car...Now i am not going to tell you what to do ,because i am not sure....But here is what i PLAN to do...First have you put an electrical tie around your shock jacked it up until the frount wheels just about leave the ground then measure how far the tie is up the ram when the jack is let down???( did that make sense)If so you now have your max travel before lift of,So .. next thing is how big are your front runners ???Mine are 26 and i am going up to 27ish....this takes some travel out and aids weight transfer a bit...second jack up again with tie still on to optimum hieght, they say 4inch is best??? then you can fix a wire bond of some type to the chassis ,if you can to the upper or lower arm to limit the travel...I have read that back Guy and i thing you might get it

I will post up some pics of mine when i get time :thumbright:I should add Guy my bump stops are set about half inch away from touching before i do all this and my torsion bars are six cylinder ones
