This is the best quality engine paint you can get.

Brush on or thin and spray on. But it works very well just off the brush (you can't send spray cans by airmail)

It covers in one coat and lasts for years.

Having painted many engines over the years I wouldn't use anything else.

I think you will struggle with anything that is not 2K.

I am constantly touching up marks on the engine from when I painted it with "2K in a tin". Nothing like the real thing and not very resistant to petrol..

Hi All,

Called Bill Hirsch's stateside, unfortunately they cannot post out of the US now, or not to me anyway?

They signposted me to ratsport.co.uk who stock some of their products in the UK, they are not good at answering the phone and only list a few items online.

Can anybody recommend another supplier for brushable engine paint in the Chrysler Blue 73-83?

Or if that doesn't exist in the UK a spray one?

Many Thanks

Steve

If you're not in too much of a hurry, or are able to plan ahead, you could order aerosols from Mopar Performance, Mancini etc and get them sent to someone like STS Imports in California who will then ship them to the UK by sea... :-k

Thanks Rob,

Have used Ron before so definitely an option,

I am more concerned with the quality and durability then an exact colour. Has anybody used this before? It is a lot cheaper than Hirsch... but sometimes you get what you pay for:

Thanks

US Automotive used to do a range of VHT paint

these Aussies sell pressure pack paint its not an aerosol as such and they appear to ship.
https://www.hemiperformance.com.au/shop ... gine+paint

you mix the paint in the usual rattle can way then bash in a peg at the bottom of the can to pressurise it.

or to tin opener it and put it in a spray gun.

shipping cost might be prohibitive

Jon, if you have a tin of the Chrysler blue 73-83, full or part full, I would be really interested? Happy to wait.

Cheers
