MMA at the Classic Car Show disaster! HELP!

I have a confession to make...

I have inadvertently deleted all the messages in my Personal Message inbox with the very very generous offers of cars for the Mopar Muscle Association stand at the Classic Car Show!

I know the Twinsters have offered the Satellite, which I would love to see there, Dave has offered his Dart, I'm sure I had a couple of four doors offered as well as a couple of Chargers, and I'm sure OI had an E body opn the list as well...but I've lost the details!

Can I please ask you to either post here or send me a PM, if your are willing to bring your car to the NEC (16-18 November 2012) and we can put you on the hit list...the Committee can all stroke their chins for a while and I can start setting up the floor plan, and organise all the passes etc.

I would like to get the stand layout sorted by the end of next week, so don't be shy, any Mopar A body to C, standard to modified, a mint show car to a restoration project...all are welcome...anyone got a part finished Superbird that would look nice as an ongoing resto exhibit?
;)

i think you need cars that shout look at me, drag cars for sure , maybe a wing car, a retro modern/old mopar if one can be found to apeal to the younger people. otherwise its same old same old,

maybe billies playboy runner >>>>>>>>>>> bet phil would put a couple of girls on the stand that would draw the crowds.... just a thought,

I think Duncan's idea is a great one. :thumbright: A crowd puller and probably a plonker puller as well.

Great suggestions, I agree, it's getting people to bring the cars that's the difficult think, I'd love a race car on the stand, especially one that looks streetable, so people can relate to it.

Just let me know, everyone is welcome! :thumbright:

Would have loved to have the Satellite on the stand Ivor but CA went and offered us the chance to have it on their stand so the car will be there but I'm afraid it will be on their stand instead.... sorry :?

Hope you get enough other offers.

Agree with Dunc about the Playboy 'runner 8-) But getting all concerned to agree and be available is another matter.... :help:

How about the AMC or the Challenger, Dunc - arent they available?

Couple of suggestions if they were willing.

Not sure if Roger would be willing, or able - I think CA offered him the 'gig' on their stand first but he wasnt able/willing/interested to take his car there.

Sorry Roger - feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

I'd add Blue's old / Gibbo's Detroit Hustle to that list.
and Terry's Valiant.
and Ash's GTX.....
etc etc

Yes, I think CA collared Roger's car as well!

I prefer to have four cars on the stand rather than squeeze five on, so there is plenty of room around the cars and this year I was thinking about reproducing the originals ads or brochures in large format to go with each car...let's see how we go, we have a week to get the planning done. ;)

Thanks to those who have contacted me already, I'm beginning to piece together my original list of cars, but it is always good to have some back up so we can get a good cross section on the stand, so race cars, gorgeous girls, resto projects whatever you've got, please let me know! :thumbright:
