the Demon belongs to Ashleys` mate, who happens to painting Dave R`s car at the mo.
Never got to chat to the Dusters owner, he turned up too late to race and left early.

Yep! The blooming slacker!! :D

His name is Matty Stocks and I think he is a MMA member already?
I am very pleased with the quality of his work so far. And the reason he is taking a long time at it is because he is doing it at a very good price for me.

Yes, it was a good afternoon, Neil. Nice to meet you and your wife.
Me and Natalie are looking forward to seeing you again at the Nats.
As you said, the afternoon was dominated by Mopar's.
Yes, the Demon is Matty's new toy. It is the one that was for sale in Classic American with the stroked motor.
Before that he owned a '69 coronet 440 and he says that it was slow compared to the Demon! I think it has scared him a bit!!! Hopefully, he'll be at the Nats with it :D

Matty 'phoned me up a week before he picked the Demon up. He was SO excited! The car is just what he was after. And at such a good price too.

He was lucky. It just shows you have to check out all possible avenues when looking for a car. In the ad it sounded nothing special and there was no photo or anything.
