Challenger

Was asked for some photo's about my Challenger so finally looked for a pic or 2 so thought to upload it right away.
Bought the Challenger a couple of years ago from Duncan as a roller instead of redoing my other Challenger into a full racer. This was a way better solution. Redid about everything to change it to my likes; new brake and fuel plumbing, new wiring, new paint, new 4-speed gearbox, new tires, new alloy interior, new dash, new windows, new moldings etc. etc. Not that is was needed though, I meand I could have just put in my engine and went racing but I like building as well so thought give it a make over. Basicly everything is new or rebuild. Took about a full year of spare time but it was well worth it.
So far, with some ignition problems way before finish I've ran a 8.98 with just my old 528 pumpgas hemi backed up by a 4-speed

It's got sweet FA to do with what I think or what my opinion is . . .
It was more the fact the guy had put his own, blood, sweat n tears, turning the car into what he wanted & to give it his own mark. He was naturally pleased and wanted to share his pleasure amongst us.
Then in the guys 'Show Thread' you decide to make the comment it was better before.
In my opinion there are certain times when it's best not to say anything or consider using more etiquette

Hans apologies to your thread

The paint job on this car is the same as his old street/strip car that he started with. He didn't want to cut up his original car so built this one and kept the same look as much as possible.
His "Street" car started out as a 340 4-speed I think and eventually evolved into this (528 Hemi 4-speed if I remember correct?);

Ah gotcha now mate, didn't see the euro plate on the car and thought it was Tigs prior to getting its stripes, looks very similar don't it?
Nice looking 72 Chally tho Hans, what times did it run?
