Frosty will have the Standard brand I think, I had em before.
So will USAutomotive, but if you want robust and ain't worried what they look like get a 67-73 Mustang one, simpler, stronger and cheaper :thumbright:

I'm sure it was a Stang part Dunc, heavy round black plastic body and only 3 terminals, got it from USAutomotive 5 years ago when the factory part melted again.

See if I can't take a pic Jon, I'm takin the car to work today so I'll have time ;)

Yeah because if you took the bike this mornin', you wouldn't get in until 4 o'clock after you'd ripped up half of Warwickshire first! :D

There is a Ford relay which is often recommended when (for instance) relocating batteries to the trunk, I used one and here is a pic from my thread (it's on the right of the pic).

Presumably that would do the job...but it would look a bit naff in the engine compartment IMHO

cheers for the help. for now i`ve just ordered 4 cheap as chips re pops from ebay. they`ll keep me going for a while. might see if theres anyone in the bristol area that can rebuild one (want to keep engine bay stock loomking), depending on price and if it will last longer....theres a place i`ve got in mind, they did a top job of rebuilding a starter motor for me a while ago..
