Nice one Steve.
Love these old photos.
The "heartbeat" notchback mustang is Steve at Customville's
It still looks identical and is mint !
Couple of others I remember there as well. I was 16 in 88 and thought I was only a year away from yank ownership
Got that wrong !!!
Cheers

i wondered if you knew that heart beat ! mustang Gary ,

that car was mint when i use to see it , had red interior , & was a manual trans , remember seeing it launch hard one time at northweald prolly 89 time , & he broke a half shaft i think or looked like it & turned left & went right out into the gass , don't think he was running a spool , but the way it went looked like it
not long after customville moved to where they are now , had to go up there for a gear selector shaft seal , took one out a rebuild kit for me , any way got waffling on as you do , that gray notch back mustang come up the the conversation , & forget which one of the other 2 guys i was chatting to , said who owns the mustang & how he just had it restored exactly the same how it was in the late 80s always thought it was a four speed , but was 5 ,
do you remember the old customville shop in goodmays , remember when i was a kid in the early 80s asking my dad to stop every time we went to visit relations so i could look in the window

they who i ordeed all the mopar books from when i was still at school

Yep remember it at goodmayes Steve.
Lived just out side Brentwood as a kid but went up there a few times with my uncle who had yanks. Proper day out for me that was !!!

Charger JTW 151K was a local car, godawful paint job by the same guy that originally painted my Dart, It's naughty Alan's now. Blue '68 Barracuda was mine.
