V6 b250 ,got my work cut out tho ,timing chain rattles ,common fault with the v6 lump but not a problem, ive got to get it through a test and the indicator has had a wallop and has sharp edges ,is there a bodge I can do that gets round the test ,,maybe sellotape

ive got the parts on order but I need the motor now as ive sold everything I was using ,which is unusual for me as ive normally got two or three cars at my disposal ,and im not using the valiant for work ,asked the wife to borrow her bmw and she told me to Bananarama! ,and im not riding a pushbike, hurts my bum

Like that mate....a nice passion wagon eh!!! How about clear selotape and an orange bulb just to be sure no white light gets out???
or stick the saddle back on the bike and it wont hurt as much
Cheers Steve

Back on topic, Terry you can get proper lense repair tape from most auto accessory stores, it's basically coloured sellotape.

all moted now ,with no advisorys ,done the dreaded timing chain in the Bananarama! rain today ,for some reason the v6 likes to stretch em big time, and it was slacker than a hoars knicker elastic, really wasn't looking forward to doing it ,but it was not to bad ,now runs very smooth, now onto the bodywork and sort out a couple of the seats ,it must have belonged to the go lightly family as the seat foams dave nigh on disintigrated

Nice one Terry.
Fitted my trucks radiator in the snow ! No need for a crawler board !
Not as fiddley as a cam chain though !!!

its not fiddley ,its just a lot of nuts n bolts ,as you have to get all the alternater and a\c out of the way,and I thought I would pull a crafty and leave the clutch fan on and waterpump ,,lesson learnt take em off in the first place ,looked like I had loads of room ,,but there wasnt :roll:also got rid of all the poo that was stuck to it ,like the running boards and spare wheel carrier, and I think it looks alot better for it ,having real trouble trying to find a rear bumper for it tho ,may have to resort to fitting a chev G20 one
