Ever since I was a kid, I always made 1:24 kits, the first I recall was looking in the window of Waltons Model Shop in Chester at a display of MPC 1977 'Blackbird' Trans Am's. I made one and it set me off, I must have made over 200 kits JoHan's, AMT and MPC mainly and always muscle cars. Johans always looked like they had the best lines to me and I fondly remember an Olds Cutlass for some reason. I have recently tracked down an unmade 77 'Blackbird' and it is now stored in the loft with a few others including a six pack Coronet moulded in metallic blue and a JoHan Superbird.

I recently dusted off my not so great skills to put together a replica of my own Tor-Red 70 Roadrunner, that is how I imagine it might look if it ever comes back from the paint shop!
