Congratulations to Guy Papworth who gained a PB in his WASP Dodge Dart.

Also to Tim Holmes who ran an impressive 11.2 in his truck  Did it get any better, Tim???

Any other PB's run at the 'Drags???

Cheers Pete, yep I ran a new PB in the Dart but to be honest I was happier that at long last the off idle bog that has plagued me all year has gone, and that was thanks to Pete giving me a hand Bananarama! the 650 and 660 carbs we had. 440's with a tunnel ram love fuel primary shooters 37 secondary shooters 45 no more flat spot, but with 72 fronts & 80 rears the run was going very lean (18.8-1) at the top end and my terminal speed was down by 7mph so I have had to go large on the jets 78 on the front and 88 on the rears and although I didnt run Sunday when I got home a couple of test runs now show it about right, so I recon a bit more to come from the motor yet :thumbright:

The Shooters helpd, but it was down to adding 2 more secondary metering blocks that could support 4 corner ideling and more importantly 2 addtional 50cc pumps!! Those old Centre Squirters are old technology aimed at 4 speeds!!

However, the AFR you fitted made diagnosis much more rapid, so a great tuning tool!

Anyway, lots of up-jetting and you will be well away next season!! :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

I might have done, if they hadn't shut the track early just as i was about to run.
Track conditions looked ideal on the sunday. Beavis ran a PB and had both wheels off the floor, Cliff Turner despite problems, ran a new best 60ft of 1.32.
Congrats to Guy, Tim and others.
