Quarter mile with timing lights and timing slips.
Rough n'ready but worth a shakedown if you live in the South West.
I ran a couple of lazy 13s in the Buick last year (rather short shut down area, so backed off)
Hope to take my Roadrunner up late this morning.
Most cars are rice/hot hatch with a smattering of yanks/rods.

Not much Dave, wet track , drag radials, heavy B body and a shut down area that is about a third of the distance that Shakey and the Pod have.
At least I did 220 mile round trip without a hiccup. Best fun was playing with hot hatches who would flash me in the fast lane on the way home. I'd mash the throttle and see them off.
My car is destined to be a GT car, not a strip warrior for sure.

Glad she behaved Miles.
A good days driving by the sounds of it.
Any times ?
Remember I'll be running a 318 B bod next year. I'm thinking I'll have time for a crossword on my pass !

My car is destined to be a GT car, not a strip warrior for sure as it was the slowest accelerating car at the trials today

Hey Dunc! your computer skills are really coming on!
Unlike my drag racing skills.
Now, where can I find another Grand National

Yep, 340 need to rev. Not happening in a b body with 3.23 gears. Pulls hard from 3,000rpm, but that's no good on the strip
