Calling all Plymouth Fury owner's!!

Hi,
As most of you know,i have just purchased a '78 Plymouth Fury 400 (6.6L)
and as a newbie Mopar owner i was wondering how many other Fury owners there are out there and what the most popular year Fury is??
I would love to see pics and a few details (model year,engine,number of owners etc) of all your Fury's out there...

Hey Danny....Ive just joined the Fury club...mine is a 66 383 Commando, 2 door hardtop Fury 3, 4 bbl, 727, 8 3/4. She was originally a PA car that ended up in Pleasant Valley, NY. She is very solid and mostly original. The non original stuff under the hood is being put back the way it should be and I will be rewiring her soon. Starting with the engine loom. Hoping to get to grips with welding in the New Year so will tackle the rear offside quarter when I feel confident enough.
My Polara is all done really so was itching to get something to get stuck into. She came along at the right price and has plenty of potential to be a nice car....if I dont mess it up!

Thanks Danny...even Mrs B likes this one which is saying something!
Lot of choice in C bodies...I love them. The early Polaras etc are lovely, the fusies are sub zero in my opinion (300 Hursts, early 70s Imps etc). Mechanicalky my Fury is very similar to my Polara which makes it easier for me to do my first resto. A lot of the things Ive done to her need to be done to the Fury (and a bit more!) But a great start.
Have you been able to go over yours yet?

I think the confusion is Gary that my mate Keith own's a GL but he works almost every weekend,so he allowed me to drive it and take it to all the shows etc and my face was getting recognized at many shows and people obviously thought i was the owner...but sadly not.
Thinking about it,what a great mate to let me drive his pride and joy!!

Yes agree with you there with the early Polara's. This is my fav year Polara...i believe it is a '70. The Dukes show used a few in the first series back in 1979.
I've not actually had the time yet to go over my Fury due to work,but planning too this weekend!!

Great looking cars....mate of mine in Canada has just sold a 69 Monaco...fantastic looking car.
Enjoy the weekend mate and remember the parts and wanted section if you need stuff. Great way to keep stuff moving around the club to where its needed. Be interesting to see what your list is like Danny...
So thats two of us so far

They are indeed as are those Monaco's. Think i'm more of a 70's Mopar era fan myself (must be an age thing maybe) but i just grew up in the 80's so every US action show which featured a car chase always seem to use '77/78 Fury's or Monaco's and i've been hooked ever since!!
I will enjoy the weekend thanks Steve and look forward to seeing exactly what parts i will be needing in the near future. I certainly will be checking out the parts and wanted sections here on the forum and completely agree about being a great way to keep stuff moving around the club!!
