Panel holding/butting clamps for welding

Guess the welding guys know of these, but I thought they were neat.

I notice he twisted the toggle from behind to lift it out, what if you cant get access to the back of the plate ?

So they dont work unless you can access the back of the panel.

correct but you could undo them and hope that square bar falls out to a place you can get to

a cleco pin will work when you cant get in there.

I used them on the Challenger rear quarters to join along their length , they are great and give a small enough gap to produce a perfect weld.
