Hi, im going to be doing some painting soon and cant remember whats the best cloth to wipe panel wipe on with?
Don't want little fibres in my paint.

Hi Craig, I use lint free wipes designed for the job and remember wipe on with one cloth and wipe off with the other! ;)

use TORK 606 or at a push 909 , but 606 is better , the proper gear :thumbright:
wear latex gloves when de greasing , don't touch the panel with bare fingers , especially so with waterbase
don't forget to use the correct tak rag , if your using water base
they are different between that & normal solvent tak rags :shock: :thumbright:

I'll be painting mine at some point and the more stuff like this I find out I don't know, the more I realise what a mess I'm gonna make of it :lol:

If you dont mind Craig, would you be able to start a thread on your work please? Im keen to eventually tackle the paint on the Fury wheen Ive finished the bodywork and any tips/ advice would be great!! :thumbright:

Hi Steve. Its not actually a car im painting , im restoring Fowler VF Crawler tractor. I haven't done any painting since I painted my charger.
Just wanted to recap on a few things. :thumbright:

I remember the old boy on farm I was working on many years ago teaching me how to start a Track Marshall tractor with a Woodbine! ;)
