EBCMopar brake pads off the shelf in the UK

I got a good result today, looking at EBC sport pad compounds for my Chally.
Cos now I got my lovely Airheart Discs from Steve Beschi to install and i wanted some proper sport compound pads to work with them. I was goin to use FirmFeel ones but I wanted to see what I could easily get off the shelf over here.
So, I go online to look at EBC's US car catalogue, all Mopar stuff is covered in there, you name it they list it,find the listing of pads and rotors for E bodies, phone EBC at their head office at Northampton, you can't get much more ;local, and ask a guy called James to see if they can be ordered.
He could'nt have been more helpful, not only were they in stock, but I could'nt get the link on their website to take the order so he offered to do it on the phone right there and then, no Bananarama! about.
Admittedly they were'nt cheap, Yellowstuff hard road and track use, cost me just over a hundred of your earth pounds.
I checked on Summit, etc, and they are asking the same amount in dollars, plus the carr and import duty, don't think it'll be any cheaper.
But most importantly I spoke to somebody on the phone, over here, straight away ;)
Heres the link.....

I have dealt with him myself, I bought some discs & Greenstuff pads for my F150, I thought they weren't any better than the OEM ones & emailed EBC, I had a reply from James saying I should have ordered Yellowstuff, I explained that they were not listed on the website which was why I got the Green's, he said that if I liked I could return them & he would credit me or if I wanted to stick with them & order Yellow's next time he would throw in the rears. It was nearly 2 years before I wore them out & I phoned him to see if they would still honour his offer, he said "no problem" & sorted the order there & then. Nice to get good service these days from a multi national company.

EBC seem to be a rare thing these days Rob, a business that cares and does what it sez, no bull5hit and false promises ;)
I sincerely hope my customers regard me in the same light!

I too couldn't find my car or the pad part numbers on the EBC Brakeshop site so that's what made me contact em in the first place, pleased I did.
If there's something you can't find in the Uk catalogue that's in the US catalogue it's cos they don't list em cos they aren't as popular, but they still carry loads of stock in Northampton.

I told James and his colleagues about the MMA and he'd like to post on the traders section and offer a set club discount for us, possibly even involve themselves at a greater level.
I mentioned it to Ivor and see no reason why it couldn't be a goer.

One of them lives about a mile from my office so I don't see any reason why we couldn't get stuff dropped off to me and then 'Relay service' it about eh?

Yes, EBC has some good stuff. We do the yellow ones regularly and works great!
