I recently went out for a Drive on a dry,yes really, day and whilst waiting at some Traffic Lights the Wind caught a Roadworks Sign and sent it down the rear quarter of my Car.The Council have paid out for repairs but I am not sure of the colour code,is it Light/Lime Green Metallic ? I have noticed other Cars in this Colour and would greatly appreciate any help.

There is a section of this forum for bodywork/paint questions like this. Rather than this "General" part of the forum.
This sticky post there might help you.

sorry to read of your misfortune, your car looks gorgeous
that looks like F4 Light Green, my car was this colour originally
although for your model it’s listed as F4 Lime Green …
http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedi ... =3&rows=50
the paint manufacturer codes appear to be the same
check your fender tag for sure, look for F4 or FF4, on mine the paint code is second row up on the left
apologies if any of this info is misleading due to differences between the models

Sorry to hear that Stewart, considering the age of the car, together with sun bleaching and weathering, I would have the bodyshop match the colour either with a swatch system or portable spectro because it's bound to be way off the original!

No worries
It just helps when you're looking for a thread you might remember being posted a while ago - if it's in the right section in the first place, you're more likely to be able to find it again
