Seeing as I was recently called a freak by a certain member !!!
for my love of reptiles. I thought I would start this thread and show the rest of my family.
I confess to loving all creatures on this earth. The more interesting I find them. The more I like them around me ( obviously lots I can't have though )
I'm also a sucker for a rescue creature.
So. First up Nosey Rosie ( named by my daughter Emily ) the Western Hog Nose snake. I promised myself a hoggy for my 40th birthday however we was having the Gt Ormand St experience so my birthday was cancelled for a year. She hatched on my 41st birthday along with about 14 siblings. But she had brighter markings and carries the albino gene. Great fun.

Next up is Flair the Leopard Gecko. He was rescued by myself from a tattoo shop after he and another gecko were neglected by the apprentices. Sadly the other died. He is a very friendly little chap and we all love him. The kids like to introduce him to friends who are not used to reptiles.

This is Purdy the tortoise shell cat.
She was Emily's 7 th birthday present and is 3 years old. We sort of rescued her from a dodgy pet shop. Clearly wasn't well so we bought her and rushed her to vets. She had a nasty infection and high temperature. It was touch and go put thankfully she pulled through. Absolutely bonkers. Makes penguin noises and plays fetch like a dog !!!

Last but not least Gracie our posh cat. I was tricked into this one !!!
We had our old cat Oscar for 18 years and he used to like a certain food with a grey cat with orange eyes on the box. I always used to say I'd like a cat like that one day. Well. A while after Oscar died we felt a new friend was needed for Purdy. My wife announces that she has found out what the cats are I like and found some kittens locally. That's great. So she sorts out all the details.
Off we go to collect our new British Shorthair tortoise shell kitten !!!
Whose name is Elliza monkey puzzle !!!! Ah. A pedigree
So. Lots of money and a new family member.
Must say. She is worth every penny. Such a lovely nature and no trouble at all.
