Anyone out there in mopar land made the change to synthetic brake fluid?
I'm hoping to finish my disc brake conversion this weekend and was wondering whether to make the change.Obviously i would bleed the whole system through, but are there any issues with any remnants of the old fluid mixing with the new stuff?

It causes more problems than it solves, save your money.

Use Dot 5.1 non-silicone.

Cheers Blue,
just did a quick search.Seems most fluid is synthetic, should have said silicone fluid, but seems there can be sealing problems and old fluid must be completely out of system.

Good point, I was assuming you meant silicone.

I put silicone in my Etype but only after the whole system was renewed.

All good, used many times before without isses

Best bit is it doesn't take your paint off

i have used it in my 1000cc go kart was told it was the only thing i could use due to the seals in master cylinder. seem to work well low boil temp and does not take on water .

as said buy a high dot rating and clean the old fluid out really well

Thanks for the replies guys.Decided to stick with the old stuff.Having enough problems without the potential of having more with change to silicone fluid.
