my headers drop right on the brake block area ,so it needs to be moved ,I do have a 69 up block ,but there is nowhere to put it ,was thinking of putting it sideways under the battery tray ,but it will be a plumbers nightmare with the lines, do I really need it ,could I run a brass T and a proportioning valve for the rear ,I know there is some sort of residual valve in the block ,maybe use a separate residual on the front line or lines,it would make for a much neater job ,doing my head in

I saw it behind the inner wing on an A body years ago, lines ran out the m/c turned left and straight thru the sheet metal.
I thought it was a neat trick, short lines, cool, etc, I'd fix a splash shield over it tho

yep thought about that ,and not keen ,if I can use a T it can go just behind the M\C and use the original line tabs ,and look neat,im even thinking of putting it on the inside of the bulkhead ,you wouldn't see nothing then

I like the idea of mounting it under the wing, was thinking of doing mine like that as it happens.
